The program
You recommend Montaj. When someone you referred pays for Montaj Hub or Montaj Studio, By Crux pays you a commission. You are in the program only once the Montaj team confirms your application.
Your commission
You earn 30% of what a referred customer pays. Once you have 10 paying referred customers, each new customer you refer earns you 50%. The rate is set for each customer when they start paying, and you keep it for as long as they keep paying. If a customer stops paying and later returns, the rate is set again as for a new customer.
What counts
Commission is paid on cash By Crux collects from a customer who stays referred to you, after Stripe fees and any sales tax. A customer is referred to you if they first arrived through your link. A Montaj Studio subscription counts as one referred customer, however many seats or brands it has. The first link a person uses is the one that counts, for 90 days. Customers who already paid before your link do not count.
Holds, refunds and payouts
Each commission is held for 45 days. A refund or chargeback on a payment reverses the commission on it. By Crux pays commissions by hand, once a month, to the payout method you give us, when your balance is at least $25. Smaller balances carry over to the next month.
Your conduct
You may not refer yourself. You may not bid on Montaj, By Crux or Crux brand names in paid ads. Wherever you recommend Montaj, say clearly that you are paid for it. You may not speak for By Crux or promise anything on its behalf.
Changes and ending
By Crux may change these terms or the program, or end your place in it, at any time. If the terms change, you may be asked to accept the new version. Commission you earned before the end date and that was not reversed is still paid.
Taxes and independence
You are an independent party, not an employee or agent of By Crux. You are responsible for your own taxes. By Crux may ask for a tax form before paying you.
Your information
We store the name, email, message and IP address you give when you apply and agree to these terms, as the record of your agreement.
